Apple just released iOS 10 to the masses, and its seems the update is bricking a bunch of iPhones and iPads.   Hundreds of people have taken to Twitter to complain to Apple Support’s account that the update has bricked their device. The bug is not affecting everyone, but judging from the reaction on Twitter and from fellow iPhone users it seems like a pretty widespread error.

It seems this error is fixed, according to Apple. The company provided the following statement to TechCrunch.

“We experienced a brief issue with the software update process, affecting a small number of users during the first hour of availability. The problem was quickly resolved and we apologize to those customers. Anyone who was affected should connect to iTunes to complete the update or contact AppleCare for help.”
