How Police Officers Assaulted and Handcuffed a Bus Driver to their Patrol Van in Edo

Kester Edun, a 38-year old commercial bus driver who was beaten and handcuffed to a patrol van by police officers in the Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State has recounted his ordeal.

According to PUNCH, Kester said that the officers, who were from Esigie Police Division stopped his vehicle to search him. He said they found nothing incriminating on him.

One of the passengers fled the scene after the officers found a substance suspected to be Indian hemp on the floor. Continue reading

Nevada teen Carter Wilkerson has successfully ousted Ellen DeGeneres for the world record of the most retweeted tweet of all time. The title, previously held by DeGeneres at 3.4 million retweets, comes a little over a month after Wilkerson asked the Wendy’s Twitter account how many retweets he would need for a free year’s supply of chicken nuggets, and the company responded with “18 million.”
