Beware! I am God’s anointed, Fayose tells EFCC

Ayodele Fayose, governor of Ekiti state, has described himself as “God’s anointed”, warning the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to come after him at its peril. Fayose said as things are currently, the anti-graft agency cannot prosecute any meaningful fight against corruption. “If they have studied me very well, they would have stopped running after God’s anointed,” read a statement issued on Fayose’s behalf by Lere Olayinka, his spokesman. Fayose visits students of Ekiti State University who survived yesterday’s fatal accident

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, yesterday night visited Ekiti state teaching hospital where some students of the Ekiti state University ‎who survived a fatal accident that killed 8 of their colleagues, are being treated. The accident occurred when the EKSU students' cab and an 18- passengers BUS collided along the NNPC-Iwokoro Ekiti State University yesterday evening. Buhari’s administration will not succeed – says Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose says he joined the ongoing indefinite strike initiated by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in his state because President Muhammadu Buhari failed to revamp the nation's economy. He said the Buhari administration will not succeed at finding a solution to the current economic crisis in the country because God is angry with the President, adding that he won the 2015 Presidential election so that he can be exposed. Fayose, Ekweremadu condemns Metuh’s continuous detention
