Chief Femi Fani-Kayode who has been in detention since May 9, 2016, finally regained freedom today, Friday, July 15, 2016, after fulfilling his bail conditions. In a statement released by the former Minister of Aviation, he said his trial and detention were all politically motivated but that he would not be broken. Nigeria and France have signed five bilateral agreements on Cultural, Scientific Education and Technical Cooperation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama said on Saturday.
Onyeama, who made this known to State House correspondents in Abuja, said the five bilateral agreements were signed in a closed-door meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and the visiting French President, Francois Hollande. Continue reading

President Buhari landed at the Orly International Airport in Paris and was welcomed by the Governor of Val de Marne Province, Thierry Leleu.
