Pope Francis says Christians should apologise to gay people

“[Gay people] should not be discriminated against. They should be respected, accompanied pastorally,” that was what the Pope told reporters on a plane taking him back to Rome from Armenia on Sunday. Pope Francis was responding to a reporter who had asked for his thoughts on a Roman Catholic Cardinal who had said that the Church should apologise to gay people. (more…)

Rescuers line up to take photos with porn star after she was involved in accident

A porn star who crashed her car into a ditch claims she was distracted by her own 'erotic thoughts'. After the Colombian nude model ,Esperanza Gomez got out of the accident,rescuers lined up to have their pictures taken with her. The 32-year old former Playboy TV host Esperanza - one of the country’s most famous porn stars - was unhurt in the accident. She then uploaded photos of herself with the men from the tow company and firemen and police officers - who all looked particularly happy to be involved in her rescue. (more…)

Jonathan says Nigeria may revisit anti-gay law

Former President Goodluck Jonathan says Nigeria may revisit the anti-gay marriage law which he signed on January 7th 2014. Jonathan said this while speaking at Bloomberg studio today June 6th “When it comes to equality, we must all have the same rights as Nigerian citizens. In the light of deepening debates for all Nigerians and other citizens of the world to be treated equally and without discrimination, and with the clear knowledge that the issue of sexual orientation is still evolving, the nation may at the appropriate time revisit the law” he said
