UNIJOS suspends lecturer allegedly caught cheating during a Master’s degree exams

The University of Jos has suspended an associate professor of law, who was allegedly caught cheating during an examination on May 4, Premium Times reports Benedicta Dauda, a former head of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law of the Faculty of Law was allegedly caught copying from a prepared answer during an examination for a Master’s degree in Research and Public Policy in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Kwara State Wants to Be One of the Largest Tech Hubs in Nigeria, Plans to Build N500m ‘Computer Village’ in Ilorin.

Last week, Kwara State Governor, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, performed the groundbreaking of Harmony Hub, Kwara State’s version of the popular Computer Village, in Ilorin. The entire project is estimated to cost 500 million Naira. Speaking at the groundbreaking, the Governor said the Computer Village would directly employ about 600 youths when fully operational. NAFDAC destroys N89m counterfeit drugs in Plateau

National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has seized and destroyed counterfeit and expired drugs and unwholesome regulated products worth N89 Million in Plateau state. It has also partnered the state government to sensitize the youths of the state on the grave dangers of indulging in illicit drugs. (more…)
