Tent collapses as South African president delivers speech at a function

South African President, Jacob Zuma, was rushed off stage earlier today after the tent he was attending a function in collapsed. President Zuma was speaking at a National day of reconciliation when a strong storm swept the marquee forcing it to fall. There have been no reports of people injured in the incident. South Africa to legalize cultivation of medical marijuana in 2017

South Africa is on a move to legalize the cultivation of marijuana for medicinal purposes in April 2017. This comes after the Parliament’s health committee accepted to implement the Medical Innovation Bill. A bill which was proposed by late Dr. Mario Ambrosini of Inkatha Freedom Party in 2013.

European Union to pay £35million to 8 African countries in secret deal in a bid to quell migration
