So yesterday was the 2015 University of Jos Inter-faculty debate, and to God be the glory we the FACULTY OF ENGINEERING CAME FIRST! Yeah we won! Winners of the 2015 University of Jos Inter-faculty debate.
The topic on the chopping block was “THE STUDENT USE OF SEARCH ENGINES: GOOGLE, YAHOO SEARCH, SAFARI ETC. HAS IMPROVED THEIR ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE“, which we supported. The competition was backed up by Mr. Tertiary Institutions Nigeria 2015 and Federal Ministry of Education.
The competition had it challenges but in general it was ok and it went smoothly. Later on, the faculty of engineering (the winners) and the faculty of law (2nd place winners) will be representing the prestigious University of Jos at Abuja wish us good luck.
