Now a days life is getting stressful between college and everyday life, I think I might just pull my hair out before it fully turns grey. My life is at a point right now where everything is fast pace and I just need to slow down. If this sounds something like you then keep reading to figure out how to help reduce stress and tackle everyday life

  1. Write- The mind is a very important part of the body, pretty much everything starts their. To get rid of stress you must first clear your mind. Writing is a great way to reduce stress because it really gets everything that’s on your mind out into the open. When you talk about things that bother you it feels get the burden off your shoulder and helps you feel a little better. Writing is also a great way to express your emotions without having to share them with everyone if you’re that kind of person. It’s good to let your emotions out because if you don’t then you’re gonna end up blowing up on the wrong person for the wrong reason. Also when writing think about what’s stressing you out and write about it.
  2. Get a Hobby- For me, my hobby is blogging and I’m starting to pick up gardening. My finding things you enjoy to do you educate yourself on something to new while enjoying. Plus since you’re doing something you enjoy and being happy you’re reducing your stress level and you’re not thinking about all the crazy things in life. It’s kinda like being able to go to your own personal getaway just for a while.
  3. Meditate- Meditating is a good way to relax your mind. When you meditate, your focusing on the now rather than the later. Believe it or not but just focusing on your breathing is a good way to relax and if done right then it can really help you sleep. If you want me to then I can post about some breathing tips that help you fall asleep.
  4. Exercise- This one is pretty simple just go out and move your body. I know when i get done working out I feel great because I have more energy when I’m done and maybe this is just me but when i workout i let out my emotions through my music. If you don’t like going to the gym or running try yoga, swimming, or dancing.
  5. Get organized- When everything is all over the place we tend to feel overwhelmed and out of control. Get a planner to help plan out your days. Clean your room, work space, or house and get rid off things you don’t need anymore. By doing this your life will feel less cluttered and so will you.
  6. Learn to say NO- It’s just that simple learn to say no to people. When you say yes to helping everyone one you’re leaving less time for you and that’s not gonna help you out.
  7. Mindset- Have a good mindset and think about the good not the bad. Don’t focus on everything going wrong in your life or you’re just gonna stress yourself out more. One thing i like to do is keep a book on my night stand and write three things every night about the goods things that happened that day and one quote that relates to my problems.
  8. Change your surroundings- When ever you can try to go for a drive or a walk to somewhere new and relax. I like to go hiking to the top o the mountains at sunset and watch the sky and think. I love looking down at the city lights and just actually enjoy life and not think about all the crazy.
  9. Spa Day- Have a spa day to relax. You can do this at home just take a bath light your favorite scents and get a great book.
  10. People- surround yourself with people you love and that love you back. Laugh cry and just enjoy lie because at the end of the day your friends are always there.
