Plane with 500 Nigerians deported from the UK arrives in Lagos

Welcome back home guys, so good to see your faces! Nigeria welcomes you with pride but the latest is that there is #FuelScarcity in town and the Lagos boys are prepared to clean your wallets dry! 500 Nigerians have been deported from the United Kingdom and arrived the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos this morning. Biafra: Sultan Urge Agitators To Embrace Peace

Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, the sultan of Sokoto has expressed worry over the growing agitation for an independent Biafra state championed by some Igbo people and promised that a delegation from the northern traditional council will be sent to Igbo leaders to meet on the issue. OAU Students Raise Alarm Over Poor State Of Facilities

Daily Trust reports that the lamenting students likened their hostels to prison yards. Students of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), have raised alarms over the debasing state of facilities within the citadel of learning. Omotayo Akande, president of the OAU Student Union, said: “It is oblivious the horrible living condition in the hostels and we as Students’ body is not relenting in the struggle for the welfare of the students.
