Phuc Dat Bich Goes To Extreme Lengths To Prove His Name Is Real

A Vietnamese-Australian man named Phuc Dat Bich has taken extreme measures to prove to the world that his name is real. The 23-year-old was tired of people not believing him when he introduced himself, and recently had to prove his identity when he was blocked from using Facebook under their rules against using fake names.  If read in English the name sounds particularly rude, although in Vietnamese the name is pronounced phoop dook bic. Mali Attack: ‘No More Hostages’ After Special Forces Storm Radisson Blu To End Siege, But 27 Confirmed Dead

Some 27 people were killed after security services ended a siege in a hotel in the capital of Mali on Friday. Special Forces raided the building after suspected Islamist gunmen stormed the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bamako at around 7am in the morning. Some of the attackers may still be holed up within the hotel, the Washington Post reported, but they do not hold any hostages. The gunmen reportedly entered the hotel shouting "God is great!" in Arabic, and shooting indiscriminately. At least three people were confirmed dead earlier, and 170 were taken hostage. According

Patriotic Muslim Woman In American Flag Hijab Shuts Down Islamophobia On Fox News

A debate about closing down mosques in the United States took a colourful turn on Tuesday, thanks to the participation of a patriotic Muslim woman dressed in a stars and stripes hijab. Saba Ahmed, founder of the Republican Muslim Coalition, appeared on Fox News’ The Kelly File opposite Donald Trump spokesman Katrina Pierson. The pair were discussing the Presidential hopeful’s remarks that he would “strongly consider” shutting down mosques in the wake of the Paris terror attacks. (more…)
