Raymond Dokpesi has called for a national prison reform. This comes after his stay in the Kuje prison where he was remanded until he met his N200m bail condition. After his release yesterday, Dokpesi attended the AIT Christmas party where he charged the management of his TV station to make Prison reforms a burning issue. He described the situation of things in the prison as appalling. Finally, change is coming, with more scapegoats we will soon start seeing the difference. (more…)

This afternoon, heavy traffic was witnessed around the Niger bridge in Onitsha as a result of the security measures put in place to curb the activities of pro-biafra protesters. People had to walk with both hands up and many were subjected to stop and search before they were allowed to cross the bridge. Security agencies, including the Nigerian Police, the Military and road safety are still present there to control the movement of people and vehicles respectively. #OldTimes (more…)
