Chinese firm to employ 2,000 Nigerians

The Federal Government on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a Chinese firm, Huawei. According to a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, the MOU provides 2000 Information and Communication Technology trainee jobs to young Nigerians next year under the “Huawei’s Seeds for the Future Programme.” Nigeria’s Minister for Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige; and Minister of Communications, Mr. Adebayo Shittu, whose ministries would select the 2000 trainees, signed the MOU on behalf o

Sosoliso Flight 1145 and Nigeria’s worst air disasters
