Mark Zuckerberg speaks out in support of Muslims

Following the Paris and San Bernadino attacks, Muslims have been criticized all over the the world. The CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg took to his official page on Wednesday, December 9, to show his support for the Muslim communities. "I want to add my voice in support of Muslims in our community and around the world," He wrote. "After the Paris attacks and hate this week, I can only imagine the fear Muslims feel that they will be persecuted for the actions of others. (more…)

Lagos shuts 53 churches, mosques, hotels

Lagos State Government yesterday shut down 53 churches, mosques and hotels over noise pollution and environmental nuisance in the state. Some of the worship centres were shut because they were converted from residential apartments to places of worship thereby contravening the law and constituting nuisance to neighbours. Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA General Manager, Engr Rasheed Shabi, while commenting on the closures said the agency received lots of complaints from residents and neighbours of the worship centers ‎. Unoaku & Miss World 2015 Contestants Enjoy a fun day at the Beach – Photos!

Unoaku Anyadike (Nigeria) The Miss World 2015 contestants have had quite a few activities so far including a visit to the orphanage and a sports day. To give them a fun experience, they visited the beach recently and from the photos it looks like all 114 beauty queens had a good time. They were treated to a world-class BBQ dinner on the beach at the Fairytale Resort in Sanya!
