Gambia orders female civil servants to cover their hair, after being declared an Islamic republic

It's not yet a month since President Yahya Jammeh declared Gambia an Islamic Republic - ostensibly in a bid to break away from its colonial past - but the implications of that announcement are only coming into play. Saudi Arabia Defence Ministry website hacked after Shia cleric’s execution

A group of young Saudi hackers took down the Saudi Defense Ministry’s website in protest over the execution of prominent Shia cleric Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr, Iran’s Fars news agency reported. Twitter to Expand Tweet’s 140-Character Limit to 10,000

One of the main features of twitter is the 140 character limit..Now, the social networking site has revealed plans to expand the word limit to a whooping 10,000 characters.This could transform Twitter into more of a public blogging platform ..
