Buhari appoints Blind man as his Special Assistant
President Buhari has appointed a visually impaired man, Dr. Samuel Inalegwu Ode Ankeli as his Senior Special Assistant on matters concerning disabled people. Senior Special Assistant to Buhari on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba, announced this in a statement released today Feb. 22nd. Shehu stated that Ankeli had headed the Directorate of Persons with Disability at the Buhari/Osinbajo APC Presidential Campaign Headquarters, "the first of any such department in a political party in Nigeria".
