Stella McCartney to Launch Her First Menswear Collection

Renowned London-based designer Stella McCartney is about to give some men more reasons to spend their money on good clothes. According to WWD, McCartney will finally be confirming her long-rumored foray into menswear, unveiling a Spring/Summer 2017 collection sometime in June of this year. As Vogue notes, the release will hardly be McCartney’s first time in the realm of menswear: she worked for Edward Sexton on Savile Row in the early days of her career before her 1997 appointment as creative director at Chloé.

Former Borno state governor, (2003-2011) Ali Modu Sheriff, has emerged the new chairman of PDP. National Spokesperson of PDP, Olisa Metuh, announced his emergence as Chairman of the party to newsmen at the party's national secretariat, Wadata plaza in Abuja this afternoon. Boxer Manny Pacquiao comes for gay people, says gay couples ‘are worse than animals’

Philippino boxer Mannie Pacquiao, who has won world titles in eight different weight divisions, has risked the wrath of the gay community worldwide after he implied gay couples were worse than animals as they (gays) couldn't differentiate the opposite sex from the same sex. How Obasanjo was awarded $841.6m rail project without MoU –Chinese firm

The Project Manager of a Chinese civil engineering and construction company, Etim Abak, on Monday told the Senate Committee on the Federal Capital Territory that former President Olusegun Obasanjo awarded the Abuja Rail Project in 2007 without an engineering design or a Memorandum of Understanding. The Minister of FCT and current governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, allegedly signed the $841.645,898m contract based on an uncalculated estimate. (more…)
