The Versace collection at the Milan Fashion Week 2016 featured a roll call of supermodels.
The collection mostly daywear were pretty simply, wearable and chic with black elastic bands were worn like sweatbands across foreheads, arm warmers were fashioned from what looked like sporty ribbed socks, an oversized navy duffle coat, tailored wool suiting, a sturdy trench with leather panels and storm flap, all accessorized with city-ready handheld backpacks.
Meanwhile the house signature baroque print was abstracted and splashed over silk shirts, trousers and mini dresses against icy shades.
Speaking on the collection, designer Donatella Versace said, “This collection is so important to me. Every single piece is wearable, desirable, real. It’s about expressing a woman’s strength and her individuality.”
