Adam Johnson was yesterday found guilty of sexually penetrating an underage girl by putting his hand 'inside her trousers' and now faces a maximum of 10 years imprisonment after also admitting to kissing and grooming a child, as the age of consent in Great Britain is 16 years. Chaos in Oshodi as thugs/cultists go on a rampage

There was chaos at Bolade area in Oshodi, Lagos this morning after two local cult groups went on rampage, destroying properties in the area. The cultists are reportedly fighting over the chairmanship of the Oshodi motorpark. The police are working to restore normalcy in the area. David Mark sworn in as Senator for the sixth time

The Senator representing Benue South, Senator David Mark was today, March 2, sworn-in into the Senate for a record 6th time. The Appeal Court sitting in Markurdi annulled the election of the former Senate President last year and he was declared winner of the re-run election held on Saturday, February 20. Senator Mark was sworn in at exactly 11 am in the hallowed chamber by the Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki after taking the traditional oath of office and allegiance. (more…)
