Saraki’s CCT trial to resume March 11th

The trial of Senate President, Bukola Saraki, at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, will resume on March 11th, a day after the initial date of resumption which was March 10th. According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the Tribunal, the shift in date came after Saraki's lead counsel, Kanu Agabi SAN, asked that the date be shifted due to his engagement in other courts on March 10th.‎  Saraki is being tried on a 13-count charge for alleged corruption and false declaration of assets while he was governor of Kwara state.

Texas couple indicted for holding Nigerian woman captive for more than 2 years

The Texas couple Chudy and Sandra Nsobundu, 56 and 50, accused of holding a Nigerian woman captive in their home for more than two years and without pay has been indicted. A federal grand jury returned a five-count indictment against them and they have both been charged with forced labor, withholding documents, visa fraud, conspiracy to harbor and harboring an illegal alien. A glare of hope! Starving Akwa Ibom child branded a witch is discharged from the hospital

Finally finally finally !!!! Today Hope was discharged from the hospital !! 😍😍😍   The children have been so excited all day ! My son David Jr. and I are now back in Denmark because tomorrow I will start my tour around the country. And oh how I wish I was there today. Looking at these pictures of the children playing with Hope makes me totally speechless. Our dream came true! Can you imagine! ❤ This is what humanity is all about! (more…)
