Take a look at the previews:
Produced by Condé Nast and representatives from the Costume Institute, the documentary carefully covers almost every aspect of the exhibit’s creation, installation and opening night of the big event, where much of fashion history was created that night (not to mention Rihanna’s dress launching an international career for a Chinese couturier fashion house).
The documentary also chronicles the sense of urgency that is always needed in the fashion industry, with “China” being the largest Costume Exhibit to date, with 150 costumes from over 40 designers in 15 galleries, and due to vague construction delays, being mounted in less than a week. An insider look at all the juicy details, it’s sure to be a fashionista’s dream documentary this season.
