The Photo-sharing app that Facebook currently owns almost 4 years now has crossed a milestone. Before they celebrated reaching the 500 million users per month benchmark and now they are celebrating 300 million people using the app daily. Or was it their picture resizing update and video moments they somehow got from snapchat.
Just so you know, the monthly user milestone was achieved in the space of 9 months. (Instagram’s last milestone was in September 2015 when it hit 400 million users).
You don’t need to be told that Mark Zuckerberg is adept at increasing numbers, first is WhatsApp, with 1 billion monthly users, Messenger with 900 million users, Facebook with 1.6 million monthly users and now Instagram’s 500 million users.
If only Twitter would copy.
