J.Crew  held it spring 2017 presentation on Sunday afternoon, and keeping the family spirit alive the label dressed it’s workers as per of the model for it’s show. From blogger-slash-photographer Tamu McPherson, fashion consultant Ramya Giangola to political PR prodigy and former “Girls” guest star Audrey Gelman, were all decked out in head-to-toe J.Crew, standing as part of the presentation.

A huge topic of New York Fashion Week conversation this season is inclusion, particularly when it comes to runway casting, and the J.Crew take on diversifying was to enlist its friends, family and employees to model the collection. The men and women posing in the 65-look presentation — ranging in age from 13 to 70 — represented an assortment of races, sizes and body types, and the show notes included charming mini-bios to help guests get to know each of them. (For example, staffer Lillian D. is listed as a “Crewcuts designer, disco enthusiast and human coffee filter.”)
