Apple just released iOS 10 to the masses, and its seems the update is bricking a bunch of iPhones and iPads. Hundreds of people have taken to Twitter to complain to Apple Support’s account that the update has bricked their device. The bug is not affecting everyone, but judging from the reaction on Twitter and from fellow iPhone users it seems like a pretty widespread error. (more…)

The Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU will begin a warning strike from October 2nd. The union disclosed this in a statement signed by the Chairman, University of Abuja chapter of ASUU. “We have tried to dialogue with the Federal Government but they have been playing games with us; we will start with a warning strike to show them we are not jokers. Lauritta Onye secured Nigeria's seventh gold medal at the ongoing Rio games after winning Gold in the shot put F-40. Onye's first throw of 7.83m saw her break her world record of 7.72m.
