British-born Nigerian gay singer MNEK covers Attitude magazine, talks coming out to his parents

British-born Nigerian singer and songwriter MNEK landed one of the six coveted special award edition covers of Attitude magazine to celebrate 2016 Attitude Awards. The 21-year-old Grammy-nominated talented artist, real name Uzoechi Emenike has been named as Attitude’s ‘Breakthrough Award’ winner, having written his first record for The Saturday’s at the age of 15 and contributed to Beyoncé’s earth-shattering album Lemonade.  (more…)

Shi’ites flee as residents vandalise, burn down their school in Jos, Plateau State

Residents of Anguwan Rogo in Jos North local government area of Plateau State, today vandalized, burnt down and demolished a school belonging to the Shiites. Daily Trust gathered that most of the Shiites in the area have fled the community for fear that they will be identified and attacked by the angry residents.  I must also note that Jos is still calm and most people in Plateau State don't even know about it.
