According to Self via TNW, a London-based doctor, Dr. Shafi Ahmed, used ‘Spectacles’ to document a hernia repair surgery — a surgical operation for the correction of a hernia — a bulging of internal organs or tissues through the wall that contains it — at the London Independent Hospital.
Many Nigerian parents would probably freak out at this point, but Doctor Ahmed did this for a purpose. He told Time he did it so his medical students could watch it as a tutorial.
I’ve always thought about the way we teach. How do you use these wearables in the clinical workspace for practice and also educational purposes?
