Two decades after the original, Independence Day: Resurgence is set to hit theaters next month and that means yet another trailer is here from 20th Century Fox — this time of the action-packed, extended variety. Set 20 years after the events of the 1996′s highest-grossing film, Resurgence — as the title suggests — sees the alien forces returning to Earth as the United Nations-led Earth Space Defense (ESD) looks to protect the planet from the invasion.
