47 Plateau public schools get sports equipment from National Lottery Trust Fund plateau

Plateau State– The National Lottery Trust Fund has donated sports equipments in diverse sports to 47 public primary schools in Plateau State to encourage them to organize sports’ competitions in primary schools in the State. #OndoDecides gets bloody as Gunmen kill APC Chieftain in Owo

Afolabi Olaposi, a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Owo, Ondo State, was killed by unknown gunmen on Thursday night in Owo. The Party said in a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Adesanya, on Friday in Akure that Olaposi was shot dead on his way home after attending a meeting of the party in preparation for the governorship election. Toke Makinwa’s Must Read Memoir “On Becoming”…Read Excerpts

There is no doubt that media personality Toke Makinwa is one strong woman. We got a copy of her soon to be released book – On Becoming and it has been an interesting and eye-opening read so far! She says it “is not a tell-all but a must tell”, and the book did speak of many things. She spoke of her childhood days, and the sad loss of her parents as a result of a fire incident in their home when she was 8 years old and its impact on her life.
