Mr. John Jwan Nden and his wife, were on Tuesday 22nd November 2016, kidnapped on the Kaduna – Abuja express way while travelling from Kaduna to Abuja. Mr Nden, a native of Panyam (Mangu LGA) and a director with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was said to have had his vehicle waylaid and then accosted by yet to be identified men. The Assisted Fertility Centre (AFC) at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, Lagos, on Tuesday celebrated the birth of its first In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) baby. Professor Osato Giwa-Osagie, the Co-ordinator of the centre, made this known during a verification visit by a team from the Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Abuja, to the institution in Lagos.
