EFCC reportedly arrests PDP Spokesperson, Olisa Metuh

National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Olisa Metuh has been arrested and is currently being quizzed (hopefully) at the headquarters of the EFCC in Abuja. Olisa is being accused of receiving N1.4 billion through his company, Demsta Investment Limited, from the office of the former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki. The money he received was allegedly from the $2.1 billion arms procurement fund.

IMF leader Christine Lagarde arrives Nigeria ahead of economic talks with Buhari

Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde, arrived Nigeria yesterday Monday January 4th to begin a four-day visit to the country which is aimed at fostering a strong relationship with Nigeria and other African member countries as well as to discuss Nigeria's economic matters with President Buhari.
