Zobo is a dark purple flower/leaves with pink hues, popularly called Zobo in Nigeria, i do not know the english botanical name but i think it is similar to chapman without the chemicals.
The leaves are boiled in water to make the drink last longer aka preservation 101. It can also be boiled with other fruits to bring out some interesting flavours like watermelon, pineapple, lemon etc. so it is gradually becoming a punch, but with the colour of a fine red wine.
