Huawei announced a trio of new MateBook laptops back in May for its second shot at breaking into the laptop space after the near miss with the original MateBook last year.
The three new laptops are the MateBook X, the MateBook E, and the MateBook D. Now, Huawei has announced that you’ll be able to preorder the new MateBooks in the US on June 30th through Newegg and Amazon, price point is still not certain. (Some little birds are saying N150,000 could be a start price)
The MateBook X will come in two configurations: one with a seventh-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage space in space gray, and a Core i7 variant that also offers 8GB of RAM, but doubles the storage to 512GB and comes in “Prestige Gold” .
The MateBook E will also have two variants: a gray model with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a Core M3 processor, and a gold version with a Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
Lastly, there’s the MateBook D, with offers a Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, and a midrange NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics card with 2GB of VRAM.
