One Adebayo Akeem has emerged as the best graduating student of the Department of Civil Engineering, Osun State University with a CGPA 4.81. He started his okada business two years after secondary school, for sustenance and procurement of his JAMB form into the university.
“LADIES AND GENTLE MEN, HERE I AM, THE ONCE OKADA BOY, AS THE OVERALL BEST GRADUAND.
“THE LESSON TO LEARN IS THAT WE SHOULD NOT LET OUR WEAK BACKGROUND TO PUT OUR BACK ON THE GROUND.” Akeem said while giving his speech.
In his reaction at the graduation ceremony, Governor Raud Aregbesola said: “I was almost moved to tears, listening to the testimony of the best graduand here today”.
