Meet Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa, the daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa and now the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi’s 18 Year Old Bride.

She got married to the Emir on Friday September 25th in a secret wedding Fatiha and is now his 4th wife.

News earlier broke on the wedding in June when the girl was 17, but it seems the Emir waited till the bride was of legal age before getting married to her. Despite all this though, the marriage has caused a lot of controversy leading to three trending topics on Twitter from this event.
