The second day of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2016 kicked off with some beautiful pieces that were proudly made in Africa! And Yma Kurfi a Nigerian label was also one of the few creatives that lead the fashion pack this night at the renowned Eko Hotel.
Yma Kurfi’s pieces were bold and full of northern Nigerian influences that really made it to standout among others, the pieces ranging from crop tops, flowery coats, to hand embroidered mini gowns were also decorated with some edgy looking bead work.
The collection colour palette had more of dark earthy tones to it that equally matched the models skin colour. I just wished the collection story was properly streamlined. See more pictures below!
