The Plateau State executive council has approved over N4.8b for the execution of projects across various sectors of the economic which will include the rehabilitation of the Jos Main market and auditing of the Jos breweries. State Commissioner for Information and Communication Nazif Ahmed disclose this after the executive council meeting presided over by Gov. Simon Lalong this week.
Giving the total breakdown of projects to be executed, the Commissioner said the funds will include the purchase of official vehicles as well as bags of fertilizer for the farming season. Others are to kick off rehabilitation work at Jos main market and auditing of the Jos Breweries. He also stressed the commitment of the council to the welfare of its Civil servants and pensioners.
