Come to think of it, in this so called recession that is currently still going on in Nigeria, with some people affected and some others still flying to Gambia on an Emirate first class ticket, would you spend N14,500 roughly $50 give or take on a “High End” scandal (keep in mind Naija High end) from 313Eko?
So let’s think about it, the scandals are quite cool for a normal everyday local design cliche we see around in Nigeria, yes, maybe the finishing is just a little better than the normal N1,500 scandal my brother pays his local cobbler, but is the finishing, materials used and proclaimed high endness worth the N13,000 difference because some guy wore it when it was still cheap and wanted to increase facade of the brand but forgot to increase the quality too.
Would you rather spend your money on 313eko or this cheaper Zara Oxford shoe that goes for $39? And I do not have to explain the quality of the Zara shoe, the picture is doing all the talking. I give credits to 313eko for coming these far but, is he losing from the wrongful merchandisation of his products due to advices for unqualified people, 313eko was last year trend, and with the new website and fame he should be able to reap his profits, if he was still using the cheaper price ranges.
Dare I say if things continue like this 313eko.com might just be another awesome ecommerce that failed.
