It is nice to see you on a new stage other than “The Apprentice” or “Miss Universe”. Welcome to mainstream politics.
Your frequent over the top, politically incorrect statements has placed you in a league of your own, it is difficult to analyze, categorize or predict you and therefore, the trending vibe you’ve earned these days is that you are INSANE.
Let’s face it Mr Trump, you recently mimicked a disabled man, your response as to what to do with ISIS: “I’m gonna bomb the s##t out of them!”, you have called for a surveillance of mosques in US, you have proposed a plan for selective racial profiling of Arabs entering US, you have termed politicians presently leading US as “stupid!” (Obama inclusive). These actions show no one rivals you in INSANITY! But your most recent controversial statement of banning all Muslims entering America UNTIL THE GOVERNMENT FIGURES OUT WHAT TO DO is up for debate.
In the midst of scathing criticisms, people forget a critical fact about you; at the core of it all, you are a GENIUS SALESMAN, arguably the best marketing maverick of the 21st century! You have a gargantuan empire to prove it; your accompanying personal wealth lays credence too. You have helped transform the Real Estate face of New York – the world’s financial capital, all these and more you did through sheer hard work and dogged determination, your recent foray into Dubai (a topic less covered in the news) is setting new standards in the hospitality business.
But we’re talking politics now, what you are doing to the American populace is classic marketing: find out what your customers need, find out who produces what they need and simply tell them (the populace) their needs can be met at a price fixed by you the middle man. Americans are ravaged by fear, uncertainty and insecurity, on the other hand, the US government sitting on the best army in the world by any standard is looked upon as a source for security but the present C-in-C is a Nobel Peace laureate, thus, has no appetite for full blown war or armed confrontation. Therefore, your strategy is simple, campaign for presidency by merchandising fear, discredit those who control the formidable well-oiled death machine of the US army and sell yourself as a worthy operator of that machine. Period. It’s working! You lead in the polls, you get 90% publicity in all media platforms and most importantly, you dictate what gets discussed nationally and often globally. Just a day after the President gave an admirable speech calling for calm and diplomacy, you came out with this “ban Muslims” speech, by so doing you obliterated and smoked out Obama’s speech from the media airwaves, I’m scratching my head who to now call “Mr President”.
I smirk at those who think what you do is brash and un-planned, they say you are a spur of the moment guy, they say you soak up the crowds energy and let your mouth go rogue…hahaha…little do they know that the GOP would have long dropped you unless you are acting to a meticulously written script by them.
The powers that be in US suddenly realized that war is BIG BUSINESS with zero risk – absolutely no risk, the only trillion dollar business in the world that requires you to destroy not build. Cost of Iraq war – $807.4 billion, cost of Afghanistan war – $570.9 billion, cost of ISIS war – $300,000 per hour. International conflicts are a $14 trillion industry!
Mr Trump, you are the only candidate who has great sales pitch to both the rich minority and middle class majority of America: WAR!
So until you become ‘enshrined’ as the President, I’ll be here wishing America all the best and to the rest of the World – brace up, the drums are being banged!
