Lupita Nyongo for The Guardian Editorial - BellaNaija - December 2015003

Lupita Nyong’o is on a roll – it seems like 2014/15 all over again!

Earlier on this year, we saw the rise of Lupita after gaining success from her role playing ‘Patsey‘ in the award winning movie, 12 Years a Slave. Her stellar red carpet appearances made her a darling on the red carpet, her out-of-this-world natural hair looks put her on top in the natural hair community and her signature makeup looks on her ebony skin gave black women the world over a new sense of appreciation for black skin.

Now, Lupita is hot on everyone’s lips for her role in the highly anticipated sci-fi movie – Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

She’s been hitting the red carpet all over the globe and making her round on magazine covers for Vogue, Rhapsody Magazine, Essence, ELLE, Madame Figaro and more. Today, we have another feature for the star with The Guardian.

In Images shot by Erik Madigan Heck, we see Lupita in pop art colour showing off fashion in bold hues. She talks to the mag about her new role in Star Wars, what her super stardom means for young girls back in Kenya and what she’s doing next. To read it all, click here.
