Microsoft launched the new Surface Pro. And it’s still been called, the Surface Pro, you can add 2017 to it just to avoid confusion. But here is the catch, still no USB-C ports. It’s still 12.3 inches big, plus the dimensions are the exact same size as the Surface Pro 4 —11.50 x 7.9 x 0.33 inches.
It seems like microsoft wants to behave like the Nigerian Government, even if people know what you are doing, you tell them otherwise. The chipset also gets an upgrade moving from the 6th-generation Intel Core chips on the Surface Pro 4 to 7th-generation Intel Core chips here. There is an improved battery life — Microsoft is promising up to 13.5 hours of battery life on a single charge, a 50 percent increase over the Surface Pro 4. It’s also the lightest Surface Pro ever, starting at 1.7 lbs. Other tech specs include up to a 1TB SSD, up to 16GB RAM, up to Intel Iris Plus 640 graphics, a MicroSD card reader, Mini DisplayPort, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device runs Windows 10 Pro and will also include a new Surface Pen with over 4096 pressure points, only 21 milliseconds of latency, and new tilt functionality
