Known for his roles in “Beverly Hills Cop”, “Trading Places”, and “Coming to America”, comedian Eddie Murphy has been awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humour at the Kennedy Center in Washington. Murphy joked that even his less popular projects contributed to his success. “It’s all one body of work … because everything … all together leads to this moment — even the movies that didn’t work”, he said ahead of the ceremony on Sunday.
A few years ago, researchers created the world's lightest metal for Boeing, and now the airline has shown it off for the first time in this new video. Called microlattice, the material is 100 times lighter than styrofoam but is as rigid as metal, which means that it has some pretty exciting applications - not limited to being able to balance on top of a dandelion. Felabration 2015 has sadly come to an end. The event which is a celebration of the life, times and music of one of Africa’s greatest musician, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti kicked off on the 12th of October and ended on the 18th. The event was sponsored by 7up and featured over 100 performances from some of Nigeria’s finest artistes including Chidinma, Solid Star, Skales, Kiss Daniels, Sound Sultan, Majek Fashek, Cynthia Morgan, Seyi Shay and lots more.
