Google drops the shopping bag from the Play Store icon

Google updated its Play Store icon today, and the shopping bag is gone. Goodbye, shopping bag. This change is rolling out to Android users beginning today. Android Police first spotted the change and noted that the notification icons look slightly different, too. Again, the shopping bag is gone and it’s now only a triangle. (more…)
