Stakeholders Agree on N2,500 as Post-UTME Screening Fee Following the Scrapping of Computer Based Test

Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu The Federal Ministry of Education and other stakeholders in the tertiary education sub-sector have agreed on N2,500 as the fee for post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening. This is contained in a statement issued by Professor Michael Faborode, the Secretary-General, Association of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (AVCNU) on Wednesday in Abuja. (more…)

‘The unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable’ – President Buhari

President Buhari today said the unity of Nigeria as a country is non-negotiable and would be protected by his government. Speaking when Vice President Yemi Osinbajo led other government functionaries to pay him a visit to mark Eid Mubarak, President Buhari said those who were around between 1967 and 1970 when former head of state, General Yakubu Gowon was preaching the one-Nigeria message, would understand that the unity of the country is not negotiable.
