I Use 5, Not 6 Vehicles In My Convoy – Information Minister Lai Mohammed

Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed yesterday said there are five vehicles in his convoy, not six as reported by Daily Trust on Monday. A statement by his press secretary, Joseph Mutah, said the minister he moves around in a convoy of five vehicles if moving with his aides and four without his aides. Dubai skyscraper ablaze near New Year’s Eve fireworks

A huge fire has engulfed part of a luxury Dubai hotel, near where revellers had gathered to watch a New Year’s Eve fireworks display. The inferno lit up the side of the Address Downtown hotel near the centre of the city, scattering bystanders and shoppers in a nearby mall. The Dubai government said one person had a heart attack as a result of the smoke and the rush to get out of the building.
