French mansion becomes world’s most expensive property selling for $301 Million

A French mansion which almost hosted the wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has become the most expensive property ever sold at a staggering $301million (£200million). The Chateau Louis XIV was completed in 2011 but bares all the hallmarks, furniture and decor of an opulent 17th Century estate. Located between Versailles and Marly-le-Roi on 57 acres of lush, walled off greenery, its sale price eclipsed that of the previous record holder - a $221million London penthouse. (more…)

The Policeman who was reinstated and promoted by the Senate after 21yrs suspension

Following a petition presented by Senator Solomon Adeola (Lagos West) on behalf of one of his constituents, Sgt. Amos Olaniyan on October 6, 2015, the Senate has ordered the reinstatement, promotion and payment of all dues to Sgt Olaniyan, who was verbally suspended from the Nigerian Police Force 21 years ago. This follows the consideration and adoption of recommendations of the Report of the Senator Sam Anyanwu-led Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petition that investigated the suspension of Sgt.
