Imo State set to unveil the tallest statue of Jesus Christ in Africa

The 28 feet statue, Jesus De Greatest, which will be the fifth tallest statue in Africa, will be unveiled at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in the Abajah local government area of Imo state, on January 1, 2016. The statue was funded and offered to the church by Obinna Onuoha, founder of Premier Petroleum Limited. According to a statement signed by Onuoha's rep, the statue has a total weight of 40 tons and is made of marble.
