Sosoliso Flight 1145 and Nigeria’s worst air disasters

Sosoliso...    December 10 may just be another day for millions of Nigerian, but for some it symbolises sorrow and tears, a day that left scars. The reason? On December 10, 2005, a DC-9 plane operated by Sosoliso Airlines crash-landed in Port Harcourt resulting in the death of 108 of the 110 people aboard the plane. OAU cancels automatic employment for First Class graduates

To all those still hoping for a frist class in Nigeria, eg moi!  Happy LOL day... According to the Vice-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Bamitale Omole, the university can no longer give automatic jobs to First Class graduating students in line with its tradition.   This is because of the economic downturn, which has affected the university’s finances.
