Chelsea fans see what your new £600m, 60,000 seater stadium will look like

Chelsea Football Club have submitted plans of their new 60,000 capacity stadium to the Fulham and Hammersmith council. The stadium will still retain the name Stamford Bridge and will cost an estimated £600m. Included in the application are plans to build a club shop, museum and a separate restaurant/cafe zone. If Chelsea are given the go ahead by the council to build the stadium, construction could begin as early as May 2016, with the club vacating the premises at the end of the 2016-17 season to play home matches in London's Wembley stadium. UNN students cry out over ‘mandatory’ N70,000 laptop fee

Recently, the university administration in it's bid to industrialize the school with information technology introduced a mandatory policy, where all students must own a laptop and pay N70,000 as laptop fee. But many students are unhappy that such levies have been imposed on them. Students said that this new policy is making education so difficult for the poor, as with this policy, many students would now be paying close to N200,000 in a federal university per session. Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, says that the association is aware of those that are behind last week's bomb blast in Kano during a Muslim procession at Dakasoye village in Kano last week. Lion escapes from Jos Wild Park, residents asked to be very vigilant

According to a few LIB readers who have sent in emails, a lion escaped from the Jos Wild Life Park while it was being fed at about 8am today Wednesday December 2nd. The lion slipped through the entrance which was left ajar by the park keeper who wanted to feed it. It is believed that the lion is still within the premises of the park however the management of the park fears it may enter into town as the park it's not fenced. Efforts are on the recapture it. Residents of the town have been asked to be very vigilant. Another LIB said the escaped lion is roaming around Easter
