#HeinekenLFDW2015: Kiki Kamanu’s “Kamanu Sutra” Collection Feat. Denrele

Oh yeah, that's him alright. Kamanu Sutra like never before! Kiki Kamanu showcased her collection yesterday, which was the last day of Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2015 with a Spring/Summer 2016 collection that took everyone by surprise, especially when Denrele Edun hit the runway with heels!. They saved the best for last. The collection which was named Kamanu Sutra was more like relaxed beautiful casual but luxury clothes and definitely not as sexy and sultry as the name (kama Sutra) implies but it was a show I regret missing! Miss Universe 1964 Bikini Photo, Compared To Those Of Today’s

The mid-20th century was a time of almost Victorian modesty. I came across the bikini photos of the Miss Universe Contestants in 1964 and when I compared them to what obtains now I wonder if we are progressing or regressing.  Miss Nigeria 1964, Edna Park was our very first representative to an international beauty contest and she looked so different from what our idea of beauty now is..
