Several People Dead, Wounded After at least One Gunman Opened Fire at a Shopping Centre in #Munich

The Deputy spokesman for the Munich Police Department, Thomas Baumann, said several people were killed on Friday in a shooting at the Olympia shopping centre in Munich. “We are expecting several dead; several others had also been injured. The shooter or shooters has not been captured and the motive for the attack remains unclear. Police had received a call around 6PM but the shooting had started at about 5.52PM at a fast-food restaurant in the shopping centre,” he said. Indian Military Plane with 29 on board Goes Missing

Military Plane An Indian Air Force transport plane with 29 personnel on board has been reported missing over the Bay of Bengal on Friday. Wing Commander, Anupam Banerjee, Air Force, spokesman, said that the AN-32 aircraft had taken off the southern city of Chennai in the morning and was heading for Port Blair in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Abductors Demand N500m for Release of Lagos Monarch

Oba Yushau Oseni The family of the abducted monarch of Iba town, Ojo Local Government Area, Lagos, Oba Yushau Oseni, say the kidnappers have contacted them demanding N500 million as ransom for his release. Teenagers Arrested in Akwa Ibom for Possession of Human Skull

Three teenagers and a 20-year-old were on Thursday arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Akwa Ibom state police command for being in possession of a human skull. According to Vanguard, the suspects Emmanuel Edet Ikot, 17; Ubong Udong, 18; Bright Effiong Okon, 19 and Okon Ita, 20, said that were looking for a buyer. (more…)
